Dar

Dar is a Renew Movement Level 1 Coach. Dar has a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and received her dry needling certification in 2018. Her previous experience includes work in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating clients with a variety of diagnoses.

Hobbies: I love to keep active with a host of sports and activities. I am an avid runner, and I love to swim, hike, garden, paddleboard, ski; any excuse to get outside! When it’s time to come inside I love to play guitar and sing with little kids.

Favorite Ailments to Treat: Shoulder injuries have always intrigued me, and with 3 kids in sports, I have a passion for injury prevention. What I appreciate most about Renew is the opportunity to work one on one with clients in an environment that promotes physical healing and performance optimization while fostering personal connections that embrace and support the whole person.

A Little Something About Me: I am an active community volunteer, serving on the Board of the Louisville Dolphins, (local youth swim team), and as the Middle School Volunteer Coordinator for Peak to Peak Charter School. As a Music Together teacher for the last 9 years, I have a special place in my heart for supporting young children.

Favorite Music: I enjoy most types of music, but I particularly love how live music can transport you to another time in your life or alternately fix a new indelible memory in your conscience. Recently my biggest musical joys include belting out classic 80s tunes with my daughters or listening to my son light up a jazz improv solo on his guitar.
